We need to realise that sometimes our children will rebel, be sullen, steal, lie, etc., but none of these things needs to take root in their lives if we are vigilant. As parents, we must pray over them and with them – and most importantly – constantly stress the fact it is their behaviour and not them we do not like. We need to affirm, praise, and love them constantly.”
