My public speaking debut…

I remember that morning so clearly. As I left home my one daughter dryly commented “Don’t worry if you have an accident on the way, any one of us will be able to give the talk for you.” They had had to listen to me practice it so many times they knew it off by heart.

Another daughter commented “please remember to breathe.”

I was petrified…

We serve a miracle working God

I had been terrified of public speaking my whole life, in fact this fear was was one of the reasons I had never wanted to get married. I would have to say “I do” out loud, in public.

Over the last ten years the following Scripture has slowly become a reality in my life,

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
