Some of the greatest teachers and biggest motivators in my life are the guests at the day shelter for homeless men where I work, and I love to share my experiences with them for a variety of reasons.  I feel an immense responsibility to tell their stories honestly and respectfully to give them a voice among those who often turn a deaf ear to their pleas and to make them visible in a world that often turns a blind eye to them.  It is a daunting task at times, but it is one that I value.

Tonight, I came across a video that caught my attention, and as I watched it, my eyes began to well with tears.  The people in the video remind me of some of the gentlemen I work with, and in this season of giving, I thought that it was perfect to share here:
